Welcome to RoamFit! We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use the RoamFit mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with a personalised fitness experience, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and password. If you create an account via third-party services (like Google or Apple), we receive basic profile information from those providers.
  • Profile & Fitness Data: We collect information you provide, such as your "Home City" (used to provide relevant weather context for your workouts), your coach preference/referral code, and the custom exercises and workout templates you build in your Library.
  • Activity Data: We log your workout history, including completed circuits, station counts, rounds completed, and the types of workouts you engage with, to help you and your trainer track your progress.
  • Location Data: With your explicit permission, we access your device's coarse or precise location while using the App. This is used strictly to fetch local weather and city data to customize your AI Coach's audio prompts.
  • Contacts & Phone Numbers: If you choose to share a workout circuit or VIP access with a friend, we process the phone number or email you provide to send the SMS or email. We temporarily store this contact information securely to process the "import" feature for your friend.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and provide the features of the App.
  • Personalise your AI Coach's audio cues (using your name, location, and weather).
  • Sync your workout history and custom templates across your devices using Google Firebase.
  • Facilitate the sharing of workout circuits between users and coaches.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party services, primarily Google Cloud and Firebase, to host our database, handle user authentication, and store data securely.
  • Coaches/Trainers: If you sign up using a specific Ambassador or Trainer's VIP Code, your workout completion history may be shared with that specific trainer so they can monitor your progress.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which utilises industry-standard encryption and security practices. We also utilise Firebase's offline caching to ensure you can access your workout data even without an internet connection.

5. Your Rights and Choices

  • Profile Edits: You can update your profile information, AI Coach preferences, and custom timers at any time within the Settings screen of the App.
  • Location Permissions: You can revoke the App's access to your location at any time through your device's system settings.
  • Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated workout data. Please contact us to initiate this process.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
